Community Care
Gospel Singing
Gospel Singing is held every 4th Sunday at 6:00 pm, except November and December. Each month there is a different featured performer. Gospel Singing is held in the Family Life Center and refreshments are available.
Beulah Workday at Mission Lexington
Mission Lexington provides basic needs for families in crisis. They provide food through their food pantry, Emergency Services, clothing (adults and children), toys, and household items through the Thrift Shop, and financial assistance. Mission Lexington is always in need of volunteers. Beulah Work Days are held on the last Friday of each month, when volunteers from Beulah gather to work at Mission Lexington for a few hours. The Beulah contact person is Sandra Woodard. If you are interested in volunteering, please go to www.missionlexingtonsc.org/volunteer to register online.
Fun, Food and Fellowship
This program has grown so much over the past years that it is almost unbelievable (God is Good and He does provide). We now have grown to approximately 90-100 participants from the community attending each month for fun, food and fellowship. We meet in the Family Life Center every 2nd Tuesday of each even numbered month from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 PM. ALL AGES ARE WELCOME. The majority of people come from our community and many churches are represented. We play bingo, make crafts, have fellowship with others and of course LUNCH. Participants come also from community nursing homes and leisure centers - and come by the bus loads. If you are interested in attending or being a volunteer, please contact Theresa George (894-9592).
Epworth Children's Home/Connectional Ministries
Mission statement is to serve children, youth and families through a caring, accepting and safe Christian community where hurts are healed; hope is nurtured; and faith in God, self and others is developed. Epworth has 2 important times of the year for donations that we collect for which is a Mother's Day and Work Day offerings; however, they accept donations all year round too. For more information regarding Epworth or Connectional Ministries, please contact Margaret Mallory (892-3751). Click this link for more information www.EpworthChildrensHome.org.
Salkehatchie Camp Meal
We provide a meal for the teens and adults who participate in Salkehatchie each year where these individuals go out and repair homes for people in the community. These are some hard working teens and adults and after a long day's work they are very tired and hungry. We provide a meal one night during the 2nd or 3rd week of July for them each summer here at the church in the FLC. If you are interested in being a volunteer whether it be providing food or working in the kitchen, please contact Teresa George at 803-397-3798.
