Companions in Christ
A new Bible study group is forming Monday, September 9th. We will meet on Monday nights, 6:30-8:00 at Helen's house, 121 Canvasback Road. Our study book is "Companions in Christ, Part 2 - Feeding on the Word: The Mind of Christ" ($6.00).
The covenant group study is daily (5 days a week) Bible reading exercises centered on Christian spiritual formation (the process of being transformed to the image of Christ) and weekly group discussions. Through Bible reading, prayer, and group discussions we will seek what, why, and how the Holy Spirit leads us to a closer walk with God in our daily lives.
Come join us! All are welcome to participate whether you have joined study groups before or if this is your first time in a small group study. We enjoy good fellowship and discussions as we respond to leading questions posed by the authors and we become "Companions in Christ." Please let us know (church office 892-2842 or Helen 892-2982) if you plan to attend, Books will be distributed on the first evening.
